Terms & Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.  You must not make any booking unless you understand and agree with the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to bookings you make with our consultants (in-store, over the phone or by email) as well as online bookings you make on our website.

We will rely on the authority of the person making the booking to act on behalf of any other traveller on the booking and that person will bind all such travellers to these terms and conditions.

Most products and services (such as airline tickets) have their own specific governing terms and conditions which shall apply in addition to the terms and conditions listed below. A summary of these additional terms and conditions may be available during the purchase process.  Questions regarding additional terms and conditions relating to the product or service purchased, not explicitly shown on the site, should be directed to DNA Travel via email to anne@dnamediamarketing.com.au.

By booking your travel itinerary through DNA Travel you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions listed below:


All prices are subject to availability and can be withdrawn or varied without notice. The price is only guaranteed when paid in full. Please note that prices quoted are subject to change. Price changes may occur by reason of matters outside our control which increase the cost of the product or service. Such factors include adverse currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, taxes and airfare increases.

Frequent Flyers:

If you are a member of an airline frequent flyer programme, please retain your boarding passes and copies of tickets for points verification against your statement. Without these you may be unable to claim points.


Booking Fees:

The following booking fees apply:

  • Domestic flight bookings will incur a booking fee of $15.00 per passenger per booking which is non-refundable if cancelled by you.
  • International flight bookings will incur no booking fee, as long as the point of departure is in Australia. In an instance where the point of departure is outside Australia, a booking fee of $50.00 per passenger per booking may apply.
  • Hotel bookings will incur no booking fee.



Some bookings may require a deposit. Deposit amount will be specified at the time of booking. The balance of the payment will be required within the timeframe specified at the time of booking.

Amendment and Cancellation:

Changes, amendments or cancellations will incur a fee of $50.00 per passenger, per booking in addition to supplier fees.



We will refund monies in accordance with relevant airline or supplier terms and fare rules. Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details.


Certain taxes are mandatory in various countries. There may also be an additional local tax/es charged at some airports/ports. All taxes are subject to change without notice.

Payment by credit card:

We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express cards. A surcharge of 1.2% will apply to payments made by VISA and MasterCard and 1.5% to payments made by American Express (Amex). Before issuing a ticket we will verify genuine purchasers. If in doubt we will contact you to provide supporting documents to prove your authenticity.


In our role as a travel agent we sell various travel related products on behalf of numerous airlines/suppliers. Our obligation is to make travel bookings on your behalf and to arrange relevant contracts between you and travel service providers. We have no responsibility for these services nor do we make or give any warranty or representation regarding their standard. All bookings are made on your behalf subject to the terms and conditions and limitations of liability imposed by these service providers. Your legal recourse is against the specific provider and not us. If for any reason, any travel service provider is unable to provide the services for which you have contracted your remedy lies against the provider and not with us.


Passport & Visas:

It is your responsibility to ensure that you have valid passports, visas and re-entry permits which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be your sole responsibility. All travellers must have a valid passport for international travel and many countries require at least 6 months validity from the date of return and some countries require a machine-readable passport.

Travel Advice:

For travel advices please contact the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade or visit their website.

Schedule Changes:

It is your responsibility to contact the airline at least 72 hours prior to departure to ensure the scheduled departure time has not changed.

Travel Insurance:

Travel Insurance is strongly recommended. The premium is calculated on the number of days you will be away, however it is important that the policy be taken out when the booking is made, to cover any cancellation penalties that may apply from that time. We do not accept any liability of whatever nature, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, for the acts, omissions or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of third party providers over whom we have no direct control. Under circumstances where liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the purchased travel arrangements. We do not accept any liability in contract, tort or otherwise for any injury, damage, loss (including consequential loss), delay, additional expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or any other event which is beyond our control and which is not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part.


You indemnify us and our officers, employees and agents against all losses, costs, damages, claims and expenses arising from:

  • Any breach of these terms & conditions by you;
  • Any act or omission by you or an officer, employee or agent of you;
  • Any claim, action, demand or proceeding by a third party against us or our officers, employees or agents caused or contributed to by you or an officer, employee or agent of you.

By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge you are 18 years of age or older and that you understand and agree with the above terms and conditions and any further updates.

Refund Policy

We will refund the money in accordance with relevant Airline and suppliers terms and fare rules.

The following cancellation fees and charges will apply to all bookings:

  • Cancellation fee of $50.00 per passenger per booking in addition to supplier fees.
  • If the payment is made with a credit card then the credit card fee is non-refundable.
  • Deposits paid to confirm the booking are non-refundable, if you decide to cancel the booking before making the final payment.
  • Booking fees and any commission paid by the airline to DNA is non-refundable
